No one, Christian or Jew, who believes the Old Testament to be the Word of God, can possibly consider the miracle of developing life that takes place in a woman’s womb as something to be despised and trampled underfoot, stabbed, burned, ripped apart, and slaughtered in ways that would infuriate animal rights activists if practiced on dogs or cats. God will judge individuals and nations for this sin, and has already begun to judge them. America is being filled up with Mexicans, and Europe is being inundated with North Africans, Asians, Turks—is God saying, “You don’t want your own children, so this is what you get instead”?
We have not yet seen the final economic, political, and social results of the global slaughter of the innocents. I predict they will be unpleasant—very unpleasant. Where have America’s once vaunted liberty and prosperity and security gone? God gave them, and he is now in the process of taking them away – and as we begin to experience the natural consequences of political misrule and public immorality, people will begin to see that America’s problems have not been caused by people who believe in the literal truth of the Bible.
Apart from the millions of innocent babies barbarically and brutally slain in the name of a false ideology of unrestricted rights, selfish convenience, ease of life and freedom from responsibility for women, we have to include among the evils of Feminism the millions of children corrupted with false values; the homes and marriages that have been damaged and wrecked; the women that have become puffed up with conceit and the men who have been put down, depressed, and psychologically emasculated.
Communism and Naziism also resulted in a great loss of freedom. Those who imposed their ideologies from the top down knew what was best for everyone, and would tolerate no dissent. The same is increasingly becoming true of Feminists and their allies (including especially but not exclusively homosexuals). Already we have experienced loss of freedom resulting from Feminist attempts to arbitrarily impose by force of law their fantasies on schools and places of employment.
There is yet one more similarity. For a long time Communism and Naziism did appear to many to be successful. Many intellectuals in the West thought for years that the Soviet Union really was eliminating the social inadequacies of capitalism and creating a better world. Many also did believe that Hitler had succeeded in introducing serious and needed reforms and that (before 1939 anyway) fascism really did have some of the answers. After Hitler’s initial victories it was possible for many Germans to really believe that Hitler was right, they were the master race. Feminism now also has the appearance of success. Women seem to be doing all sorts of things, but our society is now false and rotten at its heart, and when things fall apart, the folly of women pretending they are men, and of men accepting this, will be clear.
My own view is that, like Communism and National Socialism, Feminism has been one gigantic mistake. It is a global catastrophe, a spiritual Black Death, a psychological tsunami that has left ruin in its wake. New philosophies to radically improve mankind that are contrary to centuries of human experience and contrary to Scripture as well are, at bottom, nothing but lies. Those of us who believe in the Bible do not need to be told where all lies come from. Jesus has told us who the father of lies is.
Like the Nazis, the Communists, and many other people as well, the women’s liberationists do not want to think about the world to come. That there will be a day of judgment, followed by heaven and hell, seems ridiculous and irrelevant to them. They want their rewards now, their ease, freedom, pleasure and success now. But there are other women who have their inner sight of faith fixed on a more enduring reality, and they look to Christ for hope and meaning – not to the fantastic imaginations of fallen human wisdom.
